Death of a Cameraman Presents: The Financial Case Files — 77 & Still Working: When Helping Family Threatens Your Retirement
I want to start by thanking the sender of today’s Financial Case file… 77 & Still Working: When Helping Family Threatens Your Retirement. Today’s case comes from a very interesting young woman. She writes:
“We have financial problems trying to pay for expenses for our children and grandchildren. We have had to cash in some of our savings for retirement. I am 77 years old and still working. Trying to help make ends meet. Also the prices of food and gas are bothering us. It broke my heart a few weeks ago cashing in a retirement policy I had since my children were little. I have a Roth IRA only a few thousand in and another retirement account with only three thousand in. I have ten thousand in mine life insurance and my husband has an annuity life insurance with tens of thousands in it.”

Today, I help people think ahead financially—so when life changes the plan, they have options. Sometimes the people who need a strategy most are the ones still building. You don't have to be wealthy to start building a financial future. You just have to start.
I work with creatives and professionals who want to make smarter financial decisions—even if their income isn't perfect, predictable, or where they want it to be yet.
Let's start with a conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
