Thank you all for visiting the Beyond the Lens blog on DeathofaCameraman.com. I’m so excited about this blog series... My featured guest Dr. Elena Eustache (PhD) is truly amazing… I’ve always looked at her with marvel, and you will soon read why.

This series is special because before the cameraman “died,” he captured other people’s stories. Now he is telling the story behind the storyteller.  For a long time I made a living interviewing people for film & television casting, so it was easy for me to get the idea to contact my friends and professional associates I’ve known over the years that I have been inspired by.  But what is not always so easy to find, are people that are always gracefully willing to share some of the hard earned wisdom they had to learn from on their own journeys.  I’m forever appreciative of the people that found the strength to say “yes” to my request… even if it’s a little uncomfortable.

This next guest Dr. Elena Eustache… I can say so much about this person, so DO NOT hold your breath.  First, she is the Brand Ambassador/Owner of the Eustache Institute in Beverly Hills, California.  It is a premier wellness and beauty day spa blending biohacking with advanced therapies to help you look and feel your best. Her practice specializes in non-surgical facelifts, injectables, regenerative treatments, and cutting-edge solutions for wrinkle reduction, skin tightening, and facial rejuvenation.  In fact, I may have to go in for a little beautification at some point myself…

She is a best-selling author, a motivational speaker. I saw a quote on one of her Instagram pages that I absolutely love, where she says, “Dream big, if it’s too small, it’s not from God.” Wheeeeeew… That’s fire!

Dr. Elena Eustache is also a successful TV/video host, Relationship Coach, and GLOBAL MATCHMAKER… Now, YOU KNOW I need her to hook me up in the Global matchmaking department!

I originally met Elena before she was a PhD.  We both graduated from the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, which is now permanently closed. But it was a conservatory that Julia Roberts, and Matthew Fox graduated from. As well as many other upcoming actors I saw there like Cote De Pablo, and Zulay Haneo cycled through their part time classes on their way to becoming established talent.

I graduated a couple years from the conservatory before Dr. Elena began her study there.  But I worked in the casting studio that shared the same building and I was there her first year, and we had mutual friends so I would see Dr. Elena from time to time in social settings.  Eventually she moved to Los Angeles and I saw her on an occasion or two over the years… In 2024, she recognized me roaming around with a photo camera shooting a fashion show she was attending, and we kept in contact since then.

I recently shared with Dr. Elena that I am doing a blog/podcast about reinvention after working so long in the Entertainment Industry and then losing everything during Covid, and having to reinvent myself.

Here is a short sample clip about a pivotal moment in my own personal reinvention journey from my podcast series below.

I hope you all give the podcast a listen. It is available on YouTube and Spotify.

So now without further adieu… everybody grab a pen and paper… get ready to take notes because Dr. Elena Eustache… AKA… “The Looooove Doctor” is about to speak…

Aaron: When we first met, where were you in your life or career?

Elena: We first met in NYC, 2003. I was studying acting.  It was a fun creative time, everyone was excited and motivated to be part of the industry and learn.

Aaron: How has your life or career changed since then?

Elena: Tremendously, I have become a mom, opened a wellness clinic, studied more, acted professionally, and even performed stand-up comedy. I wrote two Amazon best selling books.  I’ve become known as a love and relationship coach globally, as well as a global vip matchmaker… and I’ve got my own podcast.

Aaron: What are you working on now?

Elena: My new podcast - Gods Love Table. Launching my classes and seminars How to Be Feminine. Expanding matchmaking Sacred Amour.

I wrote a few screenplays I will act, & direct in. One is a comedy feature film titled, Peasant in America.  It’s a story based on my dad.

I’m writing a romantic comedy TV series - The Ring Masters.

I’ve also written a romantic comedy feature film - Hope to be Feminine.

And I’m also preparing a documentary about me.

I’m marketing my Best Selling Books on Amazon.

Aaron: What version of yourself did you have to outgrow?

Elena: I was a people pleaser to a fault, and I also had to learn how to be feminine.

Aaron: Was there a moment when you had to reinvent yourself?

Elena: Yes, in my 30’s, after I had my son. I went through a very challenging time with custody. And it was either die heartbroken as a victim or become stronger than ever - I chose to become stronger than ever.  Every day… spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially… Never stop growing, stretching, changing, shifting [reinventing].

Aaron: What do people misunderstand about your journey?

Elena: How can you do so many things and still succeed? And I am not afraid to say no, and recharge.

Aaron: What has being seen, photographed, filmed, or publicly visible taught you?

Elena: Most of it [everything]… Movies, stand up comedy, my online coaching, going viral, over 1.3 mil followers, always growing, thriving, pushing.

Aaron: What does “beyond the lens” mean to you?

Elena: I don’t talk… I just go and do it… My new projects.

Aaron: What would you say to someone who is trying to reinvent their life?

Elena: There are no mistakes, it’s all about the journey. Never give up. Stand til you win.

Aaron: If someone discovers your story for the first time through this blog series, what do you hope they take away from it?

Elena: Get inspired and motivated to follow their dreams. Get closer to God. Heal and create beautiful relationships.  Love themselves and be a blessing to others

Love is all we need.

Love is all we need… That’s well said from The Love Doctor.  Thank you so much Dr. Elena for giving me this interview for my Beyond the Lens blog.  I’ve always looked at you with wonder over the years… I have always had my own questions about your journey, and now I see I am not the only one.  I greatly appreciate you, and what you have shared with this community!

If you are new to DeathofaCameraman.com.  It’s a podcast/blog website about a Hollywood Cameraman that loses everything during Covid and has to reinvent himself one step at a time. If you’ve suffered the loss of a job or career, or maybe you had to leave an abusive relationship, or experienced the loss of a close family member… or any similar tragedy, or circumstance you may be holding onto longer than its usefulness… it can cause you to feel lost and anxious about your new direction in life.  The true story of my own mess has literally become my message to help others with reinvention… and allows my story to hopefully serve a purpose greater than myself.
